The library possesses more 500 000 books . Among them the rarities of the XIX century , 100 volumes of the World Children`s Library, encyclopaedias, periodicals in Russian and Foreign languages. Pushkiniana ( the books by A. Pushkin and about him ) takes particular place in the library stock. The Library recently acquired of the "Children`s Britannica".
